In possession of a rare VHS tape shot by her father, Alisa goes on a journey to uncover the history of her war-torn family. An intimate search for traces and a journey back to the enclave years of Srebrenica and the massacre of July 1995.
Composed for the documentary The Srebrenica Tape, this original score blends minimalism, restraint, and emotional weight to reflect the film’s sensitive subject matter.
The music was crafted to support the testimonies and archival materials without ever overshadowing them — instead acting as a quiet witness, carrying the emotional charge where words fall short.
After early screenings, viewers began reaching out to ask if the music would be released — a gesture that deeply moved me. It showed that the score had served its purpose: quietly strengthening the audience’s emotional connection to the story being told.
The soundtrack is now available to stream and download.
